Elgato Stream Deck — How to Add and Remove a Virtual Device (Virtual Stream Deck) (2025)

Introducing Virtual Stream Deck - Do virtually anything.

Virtual Stream Deck (VSD) brings the Stream Deck experience onto your screen, always in reach while you work or play. Streamline tasks and control apps and hardware using your mouse or even a touchscreen.

Create unlimited virtual keys, customize actions and shapes, then pin them in place or summon to your cursor. It’s your OS sidekick, making every workflow fast and effortless.

Add Virtual Device

Getting started with Virtual Stream Deck is easy:

1) Install Stream Deck 7.0 Beta - Virtual Stream Deck is only available in 7.0 or later.

2) Connect a compatible device, such as any Stream Deck hardware, Corsair SCIMITAR ELITE WIRELESS SE mouse, or Corsair XENEON EDGE touchscreen.

Note: A supported device must be connected at least once within the past 30 days to continue using Virtual Stream Deck.

3) In the device dropdown, select Add Virtual Device…
