But the script is a choppy series of shortish sequences that don't quite flow together into a gripping whole. Rated: 3/5 Jul 10, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Stephen H Some aspects of the movie were great. I felt that Ingrid Bolsø Berdal's acting was excellent, though not well directed. The narration by Rolf Holger Lassgård wasn't the best and I feel let the movie down quite a lot, especially at the start, in addition to the choppiness as someone else pointed out. I am a big fan of multilanguage movies because of the authenticity of it. Rated 3/5 Stars • Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/28/24 Full Review rachelle a This is a well acted movie about a woman who was a spy for the Norway and Sweden and Norway against the Nazi regime at great cost to her personal life and professional life as well. It has not gotten a great review here and I must say I am surprised. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/17/23 Full Review catherine i I thought the movie was fantastic, great plot, character development. A truly great film that seems to be a minority these days. Rated 4.5/5 Stars • Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Altough she could have made the effort of finding her timeright and very distict sociolect, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal does her best in portraying the stunning star actress and Scandinavian WW2 Femme Fatal, Sonja Wigert. Together with Rolf Lassegård, who finally has found the perfect character for him as an actor, Berdal and several others of the cast all make fine acting performances. Also the cinematography is rich, with a definite touch of Film Noir, but still colorful. However, the plot draws a picture of Wigert, and what she had to go through, in a rather shallow manner. We are presented to some factors in the actual intelligence war between the Nazi occupying power in Norway and the secret services of Sweden, but it never gets really cemented in character or plot building. There are some highlighted thrilling situations and aspects illustrated in the drama, but the focus is much on Wigert's perfect acting skills towards her victims, her role as a diva and her true love relation, and in one scene it's even insinuated that she suffers from a dawning alcoholism. Still, we get far from deep enough into the person Sonja Wigert, nor does the total drama get the tensions about the game of espionage that her destiny deserves, so perhaps the film could and should have been better of as a mini series.
